THE BIG IIT DREAM

The four years at the IIT are something you will never forgot. Make sure not only to benefit from the study experience on IIT offers but also make best use of these four years by carving iit memories that will always remain etched in your heart.

So your dream is to be an engineer and IIT was your dream, but it was not to be. That does not mean giving up on your dream — just your destination.

Just because you attended another institute does not mean you are doomed to failure.

Ask a certain Sabeer Bhatia of BITS Pilani who went on to sell his company to Microsoft for $400 million in 1997. You may even hire some of the lucky few who made it to the iit.
iit or no iit doesn’t  matter ,important is to believe in yourself.

People go to IITs not only for good academic development but for complete all round development. You have such opportunities in atleast 30-40 engineering colleges in India.

the definition of a machine is simple. It is anything that reduces human effort. Anything.
Educational Startup from IIT Bombay

Hello everyone, it’s been a long time since I wrote a blog post.

This post is about a startup by a friend (from IIT Bombay) and his father who are trying to build India’s first structured mentorship programs for school students (Class 6 to 12) to nurture them into Achievers through trained mentors.

GyanAngels’ mission is to create a wisdom network to nurture achievers in adolescents globally – provide them mentors as per their interest who can accelerate their learnings and help them achieve their goals.

The goal is to create a Global Wisdom Network that enables any adolescent school child globally connect to the right mentor-cum-role model who can guide/motivate/encourage/challenge
“Education is most powerful weapon.
We can use then change the world.”

No , its not true that IIT is everything . Yes , one can say that after studying at IIT one person has more probability of being successful.

The writing on the wall very clearly is ‘IIT is a big dream.’ And big dreams are built on strong fundamentals. After all, it is the attitude that decides the altitude.
IIT is a philosophy, not simply an educational programme,” says Padmashri Dr. M. Anandakrishnan, Chairman of IIT Kanpur. With a number of engineering colleges offering engineering education, the focus of the IITs was to bring a substantial amount of science and humanities content and create engineers of the future.

Pedagogy matters
The “teaching-learning process” at the IITs are fundamentally different from most other institutions. Here, the senior most professor is assigned to take classes for the junior most students — the first-year students.

This is to ensure that the senior most professors and icons of specific subjects are easily accessible to the beginner at IIT. This helps in building a healthy teacher-student interaction. Also “there is no finality of the syllabus” says Dr. Anandakrishan and goes on to explain that the faculty has the flexibility to deliver the latest, updated and dynamic content for the prescribed syllabus.
The IITs produce world-class engineers through a curriculum which is rigorous. According to a documentary on CBS 60 minutes, less than two per cent of the exam-takers on an average get into the IITs, while 10 per cent of the exam-takers get into Harvard. Hence, the IIT JEE is considered to be one of world’s toughest exam.
Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

Yes

IIT is everything in life, for someone who has lost all respect for his life.
Definitely not!!!!
There are other colleges who offer good education.
There is something called PASSION.If your passionate enough, anywhere you will become a good engineer.
Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.
Success…seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don’t quit.
